In the ongoing Pakistan series, Litton Kumar Das has set a new record for the most dismissals by a Bangladeshi wicketkeeper in a single series. Across the two Tests, Litton has been directly involved in 12 dismissals, surpassing the previous record held by Mushfiqur Rahim, who had 11 dismissals in a three-match series.
In the first Test in Rawalpindi, Litton contributed to dismissing six Pakistani batsmen. He took catches behind the stumps off Shariful Islam’s deliveries, dismissing Shan Masood and Babar Azam, and executed a stumping off Miraz’s ball to dismiss Saud Shakeel.
In the second innings, Liton caught Syim Ayub off Shariful’s delivery and dismissed Shan Masood off Hasan Mahmud’s ball. He also performed another stumping of Saud Shakeel off Shakib Al Hasan’s delivery.

In Pakistan’s first innings, he executed stumpings of Syim Ayub and Abrar Ahmed, and in the second innings, he took catches behind the stumps to dismiss Abdullah Shafique, Shan Masood, Babar Azam, Saud Shakeel, and Mohammad Rizwan.
