The complete list of nominations for the Australian T20 league, the Big Bash, has been released ahead of the draft, which will take place in Melbourne on September 1. Among the 161 female players nominated for the draft, the only Bangladeshi player is Jahanara Alam.
Jahanara Alam is the sole Bangladeshi representative in the final list of nominees. If selected, she will be available for the entire season.

The 10th edition of the Women’s Big Bash League will start on October 27 this year, with the final scheduled for December 1.
In addition, among the 432 players nominated for the men’s draft, nine Bangladeshi players have been included: Hasan Mahmud, Zaker Ali Anik, Mohammad Saifuddin, Rishad Hossain, Ronnie Talukdar, Shamim Hossain Patowary, Taijul Islam, Tanzid Hasan Tamim, and Tanzim Hasan Sakib.
