On the day Bangladesh's U-19 team clinched the Asia Cup title, Iqbal Hossain Emon took the spotlight, dominating both the final and the tournament. The Bangladesh pacer was awarded both the Player of the Final and Player of the Tournament awards for his remarkable performance.

In the final, Iqbal Hossain Emon bowled 7 overs, conceding only 24 runs and taking 3 wickets. His brilliant bowling performance came in the 21st over of India's innings, where he took two quick wickets for just 1 run. He dismissed KP Kartikeya and Nikhil Kumar, then continued his dominance by sending wicketkeeper-batter Harvansh Pangaliya back to the pavilion in his next over.

India’s middle order crumbled under Iqbal Hossain Emon's pace attack. From a position of 73 for 3, India lost 3 more wickets before reaching 81, further solidifying Iman's impact on the game.

Iqbal Hossain was also named the Player of the Tournament for his exceptional performances throughout the competition. In five matches, he claimed 13 wickets, showcasing his brilliance with the ball.
