The ICC has unveiled the Women's T20I Team of the Year, featuring three players from India, two from South Africa, and one each from Sri Lanka, West Indies, Pakistan, England, Ireland, and New Zealand.

Opening Batsmen:
South Africa's Laura Wolvaardt opens the batting with India’s Smriti Mandhana. Wolvaardt has scored 673 runs in 19 matches at an average of 39.58, including one century (102) and three half-centuries, with a strike rate of 125.09. Mandhana, on the other hand, has scored 763 runs in 23 matches at an average of 42.38, with eight half-centuries and a strike rate of 126.53.

Middle Order:
Sri Lanka’s Chamari Athapaththu takes the number three spot with 720 runs in 21 matches at an average of 40. West Indies’ Hayley Matthews follows at number four, having scored 538 runs in 16 matches, with a high score of 85, and taken 14 wickets. England’s Nat Sciver-Brunt, who scored 423 runs in 16 matches with a strike rate above 133, is also part of the middle order.

Other Batters and All-Rounders:
New Zealand’s Maddy Green is at number six, having scored 387 runs in 18 matches and taken 29 wickets, with a best bowling performance of 4 wickets for 20 runs. India’s wicketkeeper-batter Richa Ghosh follows with 365 runs in 21 matches at a strike rate of 156.65.

South Africa's Marizanne Kapp, an all-rounder, has scored 399 runs in 16 matches and also taken 11 wickets. Ireland’s Orla Prendergast, another all-rounder, scored 544 runs in 18 matches and took 21 wickets.

Bowlers:
India’s Deepti Sharma, with 30 wickets in 23 matches at an average of 17.80, is part of the bowling lineup. Her best performance is 3 wickets for 13 runs. Pakistan’s Sadia Iqbal, a spin bowler, has taken 30 wickets in 19 matches, with her best bowling performance being 4 wickets for 16 runs.

This team reflects outstanding individual performances in the Women’s T20I format for the year, showcasing a blend of batting, all-round abilities, and superb bowling skills.
