Nafees Iqbal, the former opener for the Bangladesh cricket team and currently the team’s logistics manager, has been hospitalized due to illness. Nafees had been suffering from headaches for the past few days, and his condition worsened today (July 5), necessitating his admission to the hospital.

Nafees Iqbal was part of the Bangladesh team in the T20 World Cup held in the USA and the West Indies, where he managed logistics. After returning to the country, he had been staying at his home in Chattogram.

However, Nafees had been experiencing persistent headaches for several days. His condition deteriorated further today, leading to a diagnosis of a brain hemorrhage, and he was taken to a local hospital. Sources indicate that he is being transferred from Chattogram to Dhaka.
