DPL point table after 9 rounds

Yesterday (April 7) marked the final round of matches in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPL)  before Eid. In this league, each of the 12 participating teams played a total of 9 matches so far.

At the top of the points table after 9 rounds is Abahani Limited. This team, with a rich tradition in Dhaka's cricket, has won all 9 matches in the tournament.

Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club and Mohammedan Sporting Club have both won 7 matches each. Although their points are equal, Sheikh Jamal is ahead in the net run rate, placing them at number 2, while Mohammedan is at number 3.

Shinepukur Cricket Club and Prime Bank Cricket Club have won an equal number of 6 matches. Shinepukur has surpassed Prime Bank in the net run rate.

Legends of Rupganj and Gazi Group Cricketers have both won 5 matches each. They have secured the 6th and 7th positions on the points table respectively.

Brothers Union has won only 3 out of 9 matches and is positioned at number 8. Sitting at 9th and 10th place respectively are the City Club and Gazi Tyres Cricket Academy, both having won 2 matches each.

Only one victory has been secured by Partex Sporting Club and Rupganj Tigers Cricket Club. Rupganj Tigers Cricket Club is positioned at the bottom of the points table due to their lower net run rate.
