West Indies have taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series, winning the first match by 5 wickets. After losing the first match, Bangladesh now faces a must-win situation to stay alive in the series. The match took place at Warner Park in St Kitts, where West Undies captain Shai Hope won the toss and elected to bowl.
Bangladesh made no changes to their playing XI, opting for three pacers and two spinners, as they did in the first ODI. The West Indies, too, have kept their playing XI unchanged for this crucial second match.
In their previous two tours to the West Indies, Bangladesh had won the ODI series, but after 11 consecutive ODI defeats, the West Indies managed to win the last match. Despite scoring 294 runs, Bangladesh lost by 5 wickets with 2.2 overs to spare. With this win, West Indies lead the series 1-0.
