28 Promising Cricketers Named in Bangladesh HP Squad; Training Camps Set for Chattogram and Rajshahi
The Bangladesh High Performance (HP) Unit will hold training camps in Chattogram and Rajshahi, with 28 promising young cricketers selected for the program. Among them is Nuhael Sandid, a chinaman bowler who has recently drawn attention for his performances in the Dhaka Premier League. Notably, he is also the son of national team’s senior assistant coach Mohammad Salahuddin.
The HP Unit, comprised of players in the national pipeline, is a key part of the Bangladesh Cricket Board’s (BCB) long-term development program. The upcoming camp is designed to refine both technical skills and mental readiness for international cricket.
Screening tests for the players will take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The selected cricketers will depart for Chattogram on June 16. The first phase of the training camp will run from June 17 to July 14 in Chattogram.
Following that, the squad will move to Rajshahi on July 15, where the second phase of the camp will be held from July 16 to August 13.
The HP camp is more than just regular training—it is a comprehensive development initiative focused on preparing players mentally and physically for the demands of international cricket.
