BCB Expresses Gratitude to Pakistan
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has expressed its gratitude to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the International Cricket Council (ICC), and all concerned for their cooperation in overcoming recent challenges.
In a statement, the BCB extended special thanks to PCB Chairman Mohsin Raza Naqvi, his board, and the cricket fans of Pakistan. It noted that throughout this period, the PCB demonstrated exemplary sportsmanship and solidarity.
BCB President Md Aminul Islam said, “We are deeply moved by Pakistan’s efforts to go the extra mile in supporting Bangladesh during this time. We hope the brotherly relationship between our two countries will continue to flourish.”
He further added that following his recent brief visit to Pakistan and the positive progress in discussions, a request has been made—considering the overall benefit of the cricket ecosystem—to host the ICC T20 World Cup match scheduled for 15 February against India.
