Bangladeshs probable XI vs West Indies

Bangladesh enter the T20I series on a high, having won four consecutive T20I series, while West Indies face a slight psychological setback after their defeat to Nepal. Both teams now share a common goal: to identify their best combination and fine-tune preparations ahead of next year’s T20 World Cup.

The three-match T20I series kicks off today (October 27) at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. For the Tigers, this series represents a crucial step in their World Cup preparation. Following the West Indies series, Bangladesh will finalise their World Cup plans after six matches against Ireland.

Although confidence has returned with a recent ODI series win, discussions continue around the middle order in the T20I squad. After a 3-0 series triumph in the Caribbean last year, Bangladesh now face a fresh challenge.

The Bangladesh lineup may see some changes. Captain Litton Das is returning from injury, and Saif Hassan could partner Tanzid Hasan Tamim at the top of the order. Shamim Hossain Patwari and Nurul Hasan Sohan may also get opportunities. There is a possibility that the Tigers could play three spinners on Chattogram’s pitch. The aim of this series is to establish the ideal combination for the T20 World Cup.

Probable Bangladesh XI:
Litton Kumar Das (c), Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Saif Hassan, Tauhid Hridoy, Shamim Hossain Patwari, Rishad Hossain, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Sheikh Mehedi Hasan, Nasum Ahmed, Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman.
