In the first match, they lost by 44 runs, in the second match by 19 runs, in the third match by 7 wickets, and in the fourth match by 56 runs. Bangladesh women's team is not finding success against the visiting Indian women's team in Sylhet.
There's only one match left in the 5-match T20 series. Tigresses are hoping to avoid a whitewash in the final match.
Tigresses couldn't get the better of the Australian women's team either. After a big defeat in the ODIs, they struggled in the T20s as well. Nigar Sultana Joti's team failed to put up a strong resistance against the bigger teams.
Now, let's talk about the last match against India. In the rain-affected match yesterday (May 6), batting first, India scored 122 runs losing 6 wickets in 14 overs.
Harmanpreet Kaur, India's top performer, scored 39 runs off 26 balls. Marufa Aktar and Rabeya Khan took 2 wickets each, while Sharifa Khatun took 1 wicket.
Bangladesh aimed to chase 125 runs in 14 overs but could only manage to score 68 runs losing 7 wickets. Opener Delara Aktar scored 21 runs off 25 balls, while Rubia Haider Jhilik scored 13 runs. Sharifa Khatun (11*) remained not out. Deepti Sharma and Asha Sobhana took 2 wickets each for India.
The next and final match will be played on May 9. It's a crucial match for both teams, aiming for a whitewash for India and redemption for Bangladesh.
