After 629 days away from Test cricket, wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant made a triumphant return with a brilliant century. He scored 109 runs before departing, caught off a return catch from Mehedi Hasan Miraz. Following in Pant’s footsteps, Shubman Gill also notched up a century, bouncing back remarkably after a duck in the first innings.
