Another exciting series awaits cricket fans on Bangladesh soil. The West Indies cricket team will arrive in Dhaka on October 15 for a six-match tour featuring both ODI and T20 formats. On Monday (September 29), the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officially announced the full schedule through a press release.
According to the fixtures, the battle will begin with the ODI series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. The three ODIs will be played on October 18, 20, and 23. All matches will be day-night games, starting at 1:30 PM. This is where the first chapter of the bat-and-ball contest between the two sides will unfold.
After the ODI series concludes, players will rest on October 24 and 25 before the action shifts to Chattogram. The three-match T20I series will take place at the Birshreshtha Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium on October 26, 28, and 31. Each match will begin at 6:00 PM.
Overall, the bilateral series will run from October 18 to 31. While Bangladesh will aim to maintain consistency in ODIs and display dominance in T20Is, the West Indies will also look to use this tour to strengthen their squad.
As always, cricket in Bangladesh promises a festive atmosphere, and fans believe the series against the West Indies will be no exception.
