After UAE Series Loss, Rishad Hossain Joins Lahore Qalandars for PSL Eliminator Tonight
Just hours after Bangladesh's T20 series defeat to the UAE, leg-spinner Rishad Hossain landed in Pakistan to join the Lahore Qalandars for the PSL Eliminator match. He could feature in the playing XI tonight at 9 PM against Karachi Kings.
Rishad had earlier returned home from Pakistan following tensions that escalated after the India-Pakistan conflict. He then joined the Bangladesh national team in the UAE for a three-match T20I series. After the series concluded last night, Rishad wasted no time and traveled back to Pakistan by this morning.
Now, the promising young spinner becomes the third Bangladeshi cricketer—after Shakib Al Hasan and Mehidy Hasan Miraz—to represent Lahore Qalandars in this PSL campaign.
Rishad’s back-to-back commitments across three countries in a matter of days showcase his growing importance in both domestic leagues and the national setup.
