Zimbabwe Take Lead Over Bangladesh in Sylhet Test
Zimbabwe have taken the lead in the Sylhet Test, surpassing Bangladesh's first innings total of 191 runs. Despite early breakthroughs in the morning session courtesy of pacers Nahid Rana and Hasan Mahmud—who claimed four wickets between them—Bangladesh managed only two more wickets in the second session.
Zimbabwean veteran Sean Williams anchored the innings with a crucial half-century, helping his side secure a first-innings lead and some much-needed stability.
At tea on Day 2, Zimbabwe stood at 213 for 6. Wicketkeeper-batter Nyasha Mayavo remained unbeaten on 31, with Wellington Masakadza at the crease on 2.
