Sunrisers Hyderabad Enjoy Maldives Break Before Next IPL Clash
Amid the intense buzz of the IPL in India, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) players have taken a refreshing break, heading to the Maldives for a short holiday before their next match on May 2.
After securing an important win against Chennai Super Kings at Chepauk on April 25, SRH, led by Pat Cummins, has kept their playoff hopes alive. Their next fixture will see them face Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad.
Instead of staying back in India during the gap between matches, the entire SRH squad traveled to the Maldives for a few days of relaxation. The franchise shared a video showing players like Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma in high spirits, enjoying their journey to the resort and taking a break from cricket in a chill mood.
In their last game, Sunrisers successfully chased down Chennai's target of 155 runs with 8 balls to spare, marking their third win of the season. However, their path to the playoffs remains challenging.
