Ramiz Raza Criticize Pakistan team's performance
Former Pakistan captain Ramiz Raja has expressed considerable dissatisfaction after seeing his team's loss. Pakistan lost the third T20 match against New Zealand by 7 wickets in the series. Hence, Ramiz has made remarks on his own YouTube channel. According to him, New Zealand's second-string team is not willing to accept Pakistan's defeat.
Ramiz has also served as the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). He often comments on various aspects of Pakistan cricket. Ramiz has seen a bit of satisfaction in the performance of his own country in the third match of the series held in Rawalpindi.
He said, "Defeat is part of cricket. But such a defeat shakes the foundation of the team, especially when the World Cup is just around the corner. When your opposition, who is not even in the first row, gives such a significant defeat, it's worrying."
Pakistan and New Zealand played two matches consecutively on April 20 and 21. After abandoning the first match, Pakistan won the second match. Ramiz added, "It's true that luck can change in T20 cricket. But to turn everything around within 24 hours is a blow to Pakistan's prestige."
In the match, Pakistan batted first and scored 178 runs after losing 4 wickets. In reply, New Zealand comfortably chased the target in partnership with batter Mark Chapman and Dean Foxcroft, scoring 117 runs. Chapman scored 87 runs off 42 balls undefeated.
