Nazmul Hasan Papon has resigned from his position as the President of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). This decision was announced today, Wednesday, following an emergency meeting of the BCB directors organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. This marks the end of Nazmul Hasan's long tenure of over a decade as the president of the national cricket governing body.
After the fall of the Awami League government, most BCB directors have been seen publicly less frequently. Some of them are reportedly abroad, and the president himself is also out of the country.
