In a sensational home performance, Pakistan’s Noman Ali has won the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award for October, surpassing South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada and New Zealand’s Mitchell Santner. The spin bowler played a key role in Pakistan's remarkable Test series victory over England, making a significant impact after returning to Test cricket following a long break.

In October, Noman Ali took 11 wickets for 147 runs in the first match and 9 wickets for 130 runs in the second match against England, helping Pakistan to a historic series win on home soil. His outstanding contributions with the ball were crucial to his team’s success.

Expressing his excitement after receiving the award, Noman Ali said, “I am thrilled to be named ICC Player of the Month. Amelia Kerr Named ICC Women's Player of the Month for October

In the women’s category, New Zealand’s Amelia Kerr has been named the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for October, edging out Deandra Dottin and Laura Wolvaardt. Kerr was instrumental in New Zealand’s triumph in the Women’s T20 World Cup, scoring 160 runs and taking 19 wickets throughout the tournament. Her all-round brilliance earned her the Player of the Tournament award.

Reacting to her achievement, Kerr said, “It is an honor to receive this award, especially considering the number of world-class players around the world who are also deserving of it. For me, winning the World Cup has made this a special month, and this award holds great meaning not just for me, but for my team, coaches, and family.
