Mustafizur Rahman Joins IPL for INR 6 Crore
Mustafizur Rahman has been signed by Delhi Capitals for the remainder of the IPL 2025 season, replacing Jake Fraser-McGurk, who has withdrawn from the tournament citing personal reasons.
The IPL management confirmed Mustafizur's inclusion through an official press release.

The left-arm pacer brings rich IPL experience to the table. So far, Mustafiz has played 57 matches in the tournament, claiming 61 wickets. He has also been highly successful in international T20s, with 132 wickets in 106 matches for Bangladesh.
For IPL 2025, Mustafizur has signed with Delhi Capitals for a fee of INR 6 crore.
Mustafizur has been a part of the IPL across seven different seasons—2016, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024—representing five different franchises.
He played his first two seasons for Sunrisers Hyderabad, followed by stints at Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals. In 2022 and 2023, he represented Delhi Capitals. Last season, Mustafizur was part of the Chennai Super Kings squad.
