Against Pakistan's formidable bowling attack, the experienced Mushfiqur Rahim has returned to his best form. Mushfiq has anchored one end with his responsible batting, while Mehidy Hasan Miraz has effectively kept the scoreboard ticking from the other end. Both players are contributing steadily, with Mushfiq approaching a double century after reaching the 150-run milestone. Bangladesh is also making strides towards a significant total.
After 148 overs, Bangladesh is batting at 495 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. Before the tea break, the visitors have a lead of 47 runs. In this session, Bangladesh added 106 runs in 31 overs without losing a wicket.
