Kanpur Test: Muminul's Century Leads Bangladesh Forward on Day Four
In the Kanpur Test at Green Park Stadium, Bangladesh faced a tough situation on the fourth day as they lost three crucial middle-order batsmen. Before the lunch break, Bangladesh had scored 205 runs for the loss of 6 wickets, with Muminul Haque reaching a century.
In the morning session, Bangladesh struggled as they lost Mushi, Liton, and Shakib. However, Muminul remained in great form. He ended the session unbeaten on 102 runs, while Mehedi Hasan Miraz was at the crease with 6 runs.
Unfortunately, Mushi was the first wicket to fall, stumped by Jasprit Bumrah, while Liton was bowled out for 11 runs. Shakib also couldn't contribute much, dismissed for 9 runs after a stunning catch by Mohammad Siraj.
Just before the lunch break, Muminul hit Ashwin for a four, completing his 13th Test century. Bangladesh is now looking towards him to strengthen their innings and surpass the 200-run mark.
Under Muminul’s leadership, Bangladesh aims to build on their score as they head into the next session.
