ICC Delegation Meets Stakeholders on BCB Governance and Electoral Matters
A two-member delegation appointed by the International Cricket Council (ICC) recently visited Bangladesh as part of a review of governance and electoral matters related to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
According to an ICC media release, the delegation comprised ICC Board Director Dr Mohammed A.S. Moosajee of Cricket South Africa and Tavengwa Mukuhlani of Zimbabwe Cricket. During their visit, they met with various stakeholders associated with the BCB and discussed recent developments concerning the board’s governance and electoral processes.
The ICC stated that the delegation will submit its observations and findings to the ICC Board in due course. However, the members of the delegation will not be making any comments to the media regarding the matter.
The governing body also clarified that media reports, commentary, or claims surrounding the delegation’s visit are speculative in nature and do not reflect the ICC’s official position.
The ICC further urged all concerned parties to refrain from making assumptions or drawing conclusions before the Board has completed its review of the matter.
