Final Squad Announced for ICC U-19 World Cup, Tamim to Lead Bangladesh
Bangladesh have stepped into the final phase of preparation ahead of the ICC Under-19 World Cup, set to be hosted jointly by Zimbabwe and Namibia. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 15-member final squad for the global tournament, with Azizul Hakim Tamim appointed as captain.
Jawad Abrar has been named vice-captain of the Young Tigers. Under the leadership of this promising duo, Bangladesh will aim to make a strong impression on the world stage.
The Bangladesh Under-19 team is scheduled to depart Dhaka on Sunday night (January 4) for their World Cup mission. In addition to the final squad, the BCB has kept seven players on standby, who may be drafted into the main squad if required.
