Cricket West Indies (CWI) Appoints Three Women to Board of Directors in Historic Move
Cricket West Indies (CWI) has announced through a press release that they have proudly included three women on their Board of Directors, marking this move as a historic milestone in the organization's journey towards gender inclusivity.
Diann Campbell and Louise Victor-Frederick have been newly appointed to the board, while Debra Coryat-Patton has returned to the board once again.
Diann Campbell is a Jamaican cricket administrator with nearly three decades of experience in cricket management. She holds a master's degree in Human Resource Management and a bachelor's degree in History (Minor in Politics). The West Indies Cricket Board believes that her expertise in cricket administration, corporate governance, and organizational development will greatly benefit the organization.
Louise Victor-Frederick, hailing from Saint Lucia, is a renowned branding and communications strategist. She holds a master's degree in International Public Relations and Global Communications Management, along with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Her contributions to the corporate world in Saint Lucia have been noteworthy, and she currently serves as a director at the Saint Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture.
Debra Coryat-Patton, an attorney-at-law from Trinidad and Tobago, specializes in Employment Law, Intellectual Property Law, and Diplomatic Protocols. She is also a Chartered Director and Chartered Corporate Secretary. Her expertise and knowledge in legal matters will be invaluable to the board.
In addition to these three women, Hallam Nicholas has also been appointed as an Independent Director. Their appointments are effective until March 2025.
