Sriram played eight ODIs for India and had brief stints in the IPL with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (2010) and Delhi Capitals (2011). The 49-year-old brings a wealth of coaching experience, having worked as Australia's spin bowling coach and later serving as a technical consultant for Bangladesh. In the IPL ecosystem, he has previously been part of the dressing rooms at RCB, DC, Punjab Kings (PBKS) and most recently at Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). At CSK, Sriram will oversee a talented spin department featuring Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Shreyas Gopal and Noor Ahmad. CSK kick off their IPL 2025 campaign at home against arch-rivals Mumbai Indians on March 23.
