Change in DPL Schedule
The schedule of the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) has been revised due to the ongoing ODI series between Bangladesh and Australia. The decision was taken as the fixtures of the second ODI coincided with the domestic league matches.
According to the original schedule, the final round of the domestic league was set to be held on 11 June. However, the overlap with the Bangladesh–Australia second ODI raised concerns over a split in viewership and reduced broadcast coverage.
As a result, the final round matches of the league have been rescheduled to 12 June. Organisers believe that this adjustment will enhance audience engagement, broadcast value, and sponsor visibility.
