In the match held in Dambulla on Wednesday, Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bat first, scoring 191 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. In response, Malaysia could only manage 77 runs for 8 wickets in their 20 overs, securing a convincing 114-run win for Bangladesh and a place in the semi-finals.
