Bangladesh Leads by Nearly 300 Runs After the Second Session
Bangladesh continued to fight strongly in the second session as well. Losing 7 wickets, the hosts reached 575 runs at tea break. So far, Bangladesh had a lead of 289 runs after the first session.
In this session after lunch, Bangladesh lost 3 wickets. Liton Das, after a brilliant innings of 60, was caught at the boundary line. Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, having completed a century, was dismissed leg before wicket by a delivery from Andy McBrine.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz couldn’t extend his innings and was out for 17, becoming Hamprey’s fourth victim. Bangladesh lost their seventh wicket at 561 runs.
