Despite losing the toss and batting first, Bangladesh HP demonstrated dominance from the start. The opening partnership was broken in the 20th over with the dismissal of Parvez Hossain Emon. Although Emon fell just 3 runs short of his fifty, Tanzid Tamim made no mistake in reaching his fifty. Number three batter Zishan Alam scored 11 runs, including one six and one four.
