Bangladesh ends Day 2 on a high note with a 52-run lead. Bangladesh concluded the second day with a lead of 52 runs, with Mahmudul Hasan Joy unbeaten on 169 runs and Mominul Haque unbeaten on 80 runs. In the first innings, Bangladesh scored 338 runs, losing only 1 wicket.
Earlier, in the first session, Bangladesh scored 109 runs without losing any wicket. In the second session, Sadman Islam was dismissed for 80 runs, and Bangladesh went into tea break at 198/1. However, Bangladesh didn't lose any more wickets after that. Joy and Mominul's brilliant batting took Bangladesh ahead, with Joy scoring a century and Mominul scoring a fifty. Despite 7 bowlers from Ireland trying to get the wickets, they couldn't achieve the desired success.
Earlier, on the second day, Bangladesh bowled out Ireland for 286 runs. The Bangladeshi bowlers wrapped up the Irish innings at the start of the day.
