Bangladesh Announces Squad for Test Series Against Pakistan, Shakib Included
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against Pakistan. The squad was revealed through an official press release.
The first Test is scheduled to be held at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from August 21-25, while the second Test will begin on August 30 in Karachi.
Ahead of the two Tests, the Bangladesh team, led by Najmul Hossain Shanto, will depart for Pakistan on Monday, August 12. The team will train at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium from August 14-16 before traveling to the first Test venue in Rawalpindi on August 17.
Shakib Al Hasan is included in the squad, which features five pace bowlers. However, Taskin Ahmed will only be considered for selection in the second Test.
