Bangladesh’s jersey has always been a point of attraction for fans during major tournaments, and the upcoming Asia Cup is no exception. The Bangladesh national cricket team will step into the 15th edition of the Asia Cup wearing their familiar back-to-back series-winning kit.
According to BCB sources, players consider this jersey to be a lucky charm. Wearing the same design, Bangladesh secured consecutive T20I series victories against Sri Lanka and Pakistan. For this reason, the board has instructed the manufacturer to reproduce the old design.
The jersey is primarily dark red with green patterns on the shoulders, while the trousers feature a blend of black and green. How successful the Tigers will be in Dubai wearing this kit remains to be seen.
Ahead of the Netherlands series, the Tigers continue their intensive training camp in Sylhet. As part of the preparations, Litton, Mustafizur and the rest of the squad will take on the HP (High Performance) team in a practice match today.
Nurul Hasan Sohan and Saif Hassan have joined the national team camp in Sylhet after returning from Australia. Bangladesh will take on the Netherlands in a three-match T20I series starting this Saturday.
