Cricket Australia announce squad for warm-up match against Bangladesh

Cricket Australia (CA) has announced a 14-player  CA XI squad for the three-day warm-up match against Bangladesh, scheduled to be held in Darwin next month.

The squad includes internationally experienced players Sam Konstas, Josh Philippe and Kurtis Patterson. Several consistent domestic performers have also earned selection, including Campbell Kellaway, Corey Rocchiccioli and Tom Rogers, along with a number of other promising young cricketers.

Experienced coach Tim Nielsen has been appointed as head coach, with Steven Crook serving as assistant coach. Cricket Australia Head of National Development Sonya Thompson said the match against an international side like Bangladesh would provide an excellent learning opportunity for the young players. She added that it would allow them to test their abilities at a higher level while gaining valuable experience for the future.

The squad will assemble in Darwin on August 4 before taking on Bangladesh in the three-day match from August 6 to 8.
