In a thrilling encounter at the BKSP ground, Agrani Bank Cricket Club defeated Gulshan Cricket Club by 6 wickets in the ongoing Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League. Gulshan's total of 222 runs was successfully chased down with 6 balls and 4 wickets to spare, as Agrani Bank's players held their nerve and secured a comprehensive win.
Gulshan Cricket Club won the toss and opted to bat first. The innings started on a poor note as they lost their first wicket at just 13 runs. Rabiul Haque struck early, dismissing Javad Abrar. Another opener, Azizul Hakim Tamim, fell to Ruhel Mia for 12 runs.
Liton Das, playing at number 3, held the innings together with a responsible knock of 60 runs off 62 balls, including 5 fours and 1 six. However, after Liton’s departure, caught off Taibur Rahman, Gulshan struggled to build partnerships. Notable contributions came from Khalid Hasan (23), Muminul Islam (22), and Habibur Rahman (21), but none could provide a game-changing innings.

For Gulshan, Mehdi Hasan picked up 2 wickets, but his efforts were not enough to prevent Agrani Bank from completing the chase. With this win, Agrani Bank secured an important 6-wicket victory.
