At just 13 years old, Vaibhav Suryawanshi has been selected for the IPL. The young cricketer from Bihar, Vaibhav Suryawanshi, is a left-handed top-order batsman. Rajasthan Royals have bought him for 1 crore 10 lakh rupees, making him the youngest player in IPL history.
Vaibhav Suryawanshi is 13 years and 243 days old. He has already made a mark by playing for India's Under-19 team. Additionally, he scored a century against Australia Under-19 in a four-day match in Chennai.
Vaibhav's base price in the IPL auction was set at 30 lakh rupees. The bidding war for him took place between two franchises, Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals. Ultimately, Rajasthan Royals won the bid with the highest offer and secured Vaibhav for their team.
Earlier this year, Vaibhav made his debut in first-class cricket against Mumbai. He has also played in the Ranji Trophy and is currently participating in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for Bihar in the T20 format.
