চলতি বিশ্বকাপে এখনো পর্যন্ত আফগানিস্তান ম্যাচ জিতেনি একটিও। তবে মাঠের বাইরে নানাভাবে দলটি আছে আলোচনার তুঙ্গে। পাকিস্তানি সাবেক গতি তারকা শোয়েব আখতার আরেকবার আলোচনায় আনলেন রাশিদ-নবীদের। যেখানে দলটির কড়া সমালোচনা করে শোয়েব হু-ম-কি দিয়ে রেখেছেন আফগানিস্তানকে আজ(২৯জুন) লিডসে দুমড়েমুচড়ে হারিয়ে ক্রিকেট শেখানোর। আর এতেই আফগানিদের ক্ষোভের বহিঃপ্রকাশ ঘটছে টুইটারে।
আফগানিস্তান বোর্ড সিইও’র পাকিস্তানকে ক্রিকেট শেখাতে চাওয়ার আগ্রহ থেকে শুরু করে দলটির অধিনায়কের বাংলাদেশকে ডুবানোর ইচ্ছে , সমর্থকদের সাথে রাশিদ খানদের বাজে আচরণ, রেস্টুরেন্টে মা-রা-মা-রি, টুর্নামেন্টের মাঝপথে ফিটনেস ইস্যুতে অভিজ্ঞ মোহাম্মদ শেহজাদের বাড়ির পথ ধরা সবমিলিয়ে একটি হ-য-ব-র-ল পরিস্থিতি আফগানিস্তান দলের, তার উপর অনেক আশার কথা শুনিয়ে এসেও বিশ্বকাপে পুরোপুরি ব্যর্থ গুলবাদিন নাইবের দল।
আজ (২৯জুন) লিডসের হেডিংলিতে পাকিস্তানের বিপক্ষে কাঙ্খিত জয়ের লক্ষ্যে নামবে আফগানরা, অন্যদিকে সেমির স্বপ্ন জিইয়ে রাখতে পাকিস্তানের এটি আবশ্যকিয় জয়ের ম্যাচ। এমন ম্যাচের আগেই শোয়েব আখতার তার ইউটিউব চ্যানেলে ম্যাচ রিভিউতে আফগানিস্তানের কড়া সমালোচনা করে উত্তাপ ছড়িয়ে দেন। সমালোচনার বহিঃপ্রকাশে এতটাই রেগে যান শোয়েব যে আফগান ক্রিকেটারদের নাগরিকত্ব নিয়েও তোলেন প্রশ্ন, তাদের ক্রিকেট শিখিয়েছে পাকিস্তান এমনটাও করেন দাবি।
এ প্রসঙ্গে শোয়েব বলেন, “তাদের হোমগ্রাউন্ড এখন দিল্লী। একটা সময় ছিল লাহোর, করাচি। আফগান খেলোয়াড়েরা আমাদের কাছ থেকে ক্রিকেট শিখেছে। পাকিস্তানের রিফিউজি ক্যাম্পে তাদের ক্রিকেট শিখিয়েছি আমরা। কিছু মনে করবেননা, তাদের আইডি কার্ড চেক করলে তারা বিশ্বকাপ থেকেই নিষিদ্ধ হয়ে যাবে। তাদের বেশিরভাগ খেলোয়াড়ই যে করাচি কিংবা লাহোরের।”
তবে রাওয়ালপিন্ডি এক্সপ্রেস যে মূলত আফগানিস্তান সিইও’র মনব্যে ফুঁসেছেন বোঝা গিয়েছে তার পরের কথাগুলোয়, তিনি বলেন, “তারা এখন ভারতের কাছে ক্রিকেট শিখছে, কিন্তু ভারত তাদের প্রকৃত খেলাটা ধরিয়ে দিতে পারছেনা। আমরা আফগানিস্তানকে ভালোবাসি, তাদের তিন মিলিয়ন শরনার্থীকে আমরা জায়গা দিয়েছি। তবে খেলায় কোন ছাড় নয়। তাদের উপর চড়াও হয়েই জয় তুলে নিবো।”
আফগান সিইও’র প্রসঙ্গ টেনে পাকিস্তানের শেষ চারে খেলার ব্যাপারে আত্মবিশ্বাসী শোয়েব আরও যোগ করেন, “ আফগানিস্তান সিইও বলছেন আমাদের তাদের কাছ থেকে ক্রিকেট খেলা শিখা উচিৎ। কাল(২৯ জুন) আমরা তাদের ক্রিকেট শেখাবো। তাদের কোন ছাড় দেওয়া হবেনা। ভারতের সাহায্য আমাদের লাগবে। আমার বিশ্বাস ভারত-পাকিস্তান প্রথম সেমিফাইনাল খেলবে। ভারত টেবিলের শীর্ষে আর আমরা চারে থেকে।”
তার এমন মন্তব্যের পরই ফুঁসে ওঠে আফগান সমর্থকরা। পাকিস্তানি এই পেসারের করছে মু-ন্ডু-পা-ত। টুইটারে আফগানিরা শোয়েবকে স-ন্ত্রা-স বলেও করছে অভিহিত, তার এমন মন্তব্যের পর অনেকেই বলছেন আফগানিস্তান মাঠে পাকিস্তানকে হারিয়েই দিবে জবাব।
