In the year 2024, it's the year of the ICC T20 World Cup. However, there's no pause for the ICC World Test Championship. Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have played a 2-match series in Sylhet and Chattogram. There's been a change in the ranking of cricketers due to the performance in the Chattogram Test.
In the Chattogram Test, Bangladesh suffered a defeat by a significant margin of 192 runs. Despite the loss, there has been an improvement in the rankings for Bangladesh opener Zakir Hasan.
